Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a non-surgical method that is effective at reducing muscle, ligament, and bone pain. High-energy sound waves move through the body tissues which stimulates the body's natural healing properties. The sound waves stimulate an increase in blood flow to the area and necessary growth hormones flock to the area where damaged and/or injured muscles, tendons and ligaments are located.

Many parents have anxiety about feeding their baby regardless of which method they choose. Jasmine can answer your questions, calm your worries and help you and your baby get the best start by achieving your feeding goals. Appointments available in the clinic and also at your home.

The best time to learn how to feed your baby is BEFORE baby comes. Prenatally, she can help you prepare with education regarding lactation, newborn intake, output and behaviours and even collecting milk at 37 weeks into pregnancy.

Postpartum, she will asses you and your baby, address your questions and help you create an individualized feeding plan to help improve or resolve feeding concerns. Some of the things she can help with include: difficulties latching, tongue tie, low-milk supply, low-weight gain, over supply, gassy babies, pumping, bottle and supplemental feeding support, breastfeeding cessation and weaning.

Jasmine has 15 years of experience in infant and maternal health and is a Registered Nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.

As a twelve-year old looking through healthcare magazines Jenny discovered her passion for helping women at various stages of their life.

Jenny’s practice of midwifery integrates discussions about how our body’s physiology, our intuition, and evidence-based maternity care influences pregnancy, labour and birth. She hopes to encourage confidence in her clients (and partners), about the body’s ability to build, birth, and nurture a baby as they navigate pregnancy and childbirth.

Jenny co-facilitates new parenting groups in the community and coordinates group care & parent sessions for the bb&b clients.

She completed my Bachelor of Science (Health Science, 2013) at Mount Royal University (MRU) and has a Bachelor of Midwifery and a Minor in Women & Gender Studies (MRU 2021).

I struggled most of my adult life with being overweight. Since 2009 I have focused on creating a healthier lifestyle for my family and myself. After successfully losing 60 pounds I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in fitness to help others. In 2012, I became certified as an AFLCA Group Fitness Instructor and then went back to school attending the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer Program, graduating with honors in 2014. Since then, I have supplemented my diploma with certifications in TRX, ACE (Alberta Cancer Exercise), foam rolling, AFLCA Ever Active Kids, AFLCA Functional Independence in Older Adult, and recently completed the CSEP Pre/Post Natal Specialist certification.

For past 8 years, I have volunteered in coaching youth football in Airdrie. Starting as strength and conditioning coach to moving into the running back coach at BCHS. Recently have become the head coach of the Airdrie Female Raiders team. Promoting physical movement to all ages is important to me, as well as mentoring woman of all ages in a healthy lifestyle.
